The ePIV is a two-way valve which is unaffected by pressure variations in a system. It directly measures flow by combining a magnetic flow meter and a 2-way control valve. It is a valve designed specifically for HVAC applications.

The ePIV complements the existing line of Pressure Independent Characterized Control Valve (PICCV) to offer a complete range of pressure independent valves. It eliminates overflow thru the coil thus saving energy for the building owner. Overflow wastes energy by over pumping and is the main cause of the low Delta T syndrome in chilled water systems.

The ePIV is used to regulate flow through air handling, heating and cooling coils, fan coil units, unit ventilators and VAV re-heat coils.

B6, Flanged Characterized Control Valve Series

The B6 Series, Two Way, Characterized Control Valve Stainless Steel Ball and Stem (CCVT) include the following features:

B2HT, High Temperature Characterized Control Valve Series (HTCCV)

HTCCV are environmentally friendly and suitable for potable water and low pressure steam applications. The High Temperature Characterized Control Valve (HTCCV) meets the challenges of space restricted applications such as unit ventilators, and fan coil units. It is available with spring and non-spring return actuators. The HTCCV is environmentally friendly and is suitable for use as a clean steam or potable water control valve, a first ever for the Belimo product line.

Belimo's HTCCV is very unique. A special characterizing disc inside the valve gives it an equal percentage characteristic which makes it out perform a globe valve of the same nominal size. The flow (Cv value) is reduced to the required value by a combination of the hole in the ball and the shaped aperture in the disc. The increase in flow as the valve is opened is very slow and controlled, and it also reduces turbulence. This produces better part-load behavior and improved stability of control while also optimizing energy consumption.

The HTCCV controls a steam supply of 15 psig and less, which out performs a globe valve of similar size and Cv. Within the ½” to 1” sizes, a globe valve is no match for the HTCCV.

The HTCCV Features:

Z2 & Z3, Electronic Zone Valve Series

This valve is typically used on fan coil units, baseboards or other hydronic applications where fail safe operation or 2-wire control is required. This valve is suitable for use in a hydronic system with variable or constant flow. This valve is designed to fit in compact areas where on/off or control is required using 24 VAC or 120 VAC.

The ePIV valve is a two-way valve unchanged by pressure variations. By combining magnetic flow meters with the two-way controls, flows can be directly measured. It also gets rid of coil overflow which provides energy savings for building owners.

B6, FLANGED CHARACTERIZED CONTROL VALVE SERIES

The flanged, characterized control B6 series (CCVT) contains flange and actuators with

thermal isolating adapter between them. The CCVT series also includes vent holes for condensation reduction, simplified direct actuator coupling with a single screw, forged valve bodies made from brass, perpendicular mounting flanges, square drive heads, a characterizing disc, as well as a blow-out proof stem.

B2HT, HIGH TEMPERATURE CHARACTERIZED CONTROL VALVE SERIES (HTCCV)

HTCC valves are Belimo's first ever environmentally safe and well suited for low pressure steam and potable water products. This series deals with space restriction challenges like fan coil and ventilators units. Spring and non-spring actuators are readily available.

The equal percentage attributes of the HTCCV allows this valve to outperform globe valves of comparable size.

Z2 & Z3, ELECTRONIC ZONE VALVE SERIES

Generally utilized with baseboards, fan coil units, or other applications, this valve series is appropriate for hydronic systems with constant or changeable flows which rest in compact areas.
