Booster coil heaters boost the temperature of AC as it flows through them. The horizontal unit has finned pipes heated by hot oil that flows through them. The hot oil must be provided by an external source, such as a thermal fluid heater. The vertical unit is a helical coil heater which has a burner and requires no other heat source. It heats the AC as it flows through the helical coil. Booster heaters are used to boost the temperature of AC when it is lower than required for making mix. This may happen when making HMA that includes rubber or polymers. This is commonly used at AC terminals and HMA plants.

Booster coil heaters are a compact, energy efficient source of instantaneous hot water for commercial dishwashers and industrial applications. Booster heaters which are equipped with corrosion resistant Stainless Steel tanks sustain for long service life.

Booster coils are provided with a variety of casing configurations including fully flanged, slip and drive or end plates only.

Booster coil construction comprises a tubing that may have specifications like 3/8" or 1/2" O.D. Copper, 5/8" O.D. Copper, Cupronickel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel or Admiralty Brass. The type may be Single or Double having 1 or 2 rows .The Fin Surface maybe Sine Wave (corrugated), New Ripple (peak and valley) or Flat. The casing may be Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Copper or Aluminum. Connections may range from being Copper Sweat, Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel .The vents and drains maybe 1/8" Dole Vent & Drain.

Booster heating coil selection module allows a specified/selector to rapidly produce selections correctly and in a table fashion for ease of specifying, submitting and ordering. More information on hot water booster coiled heaters can be stated in form of its advantages and disadvantages.

The advantage of using a hot water booster coiled heater is that it can improve the performance of a marginal tankless hot water heater .The main disadvantages of the hot water booster coil heaters can be that depending on design , they may be slow to reheat when hot water is depleted .If improperly installed they may not improve hot water production .There can be risk of scalding hot water .The hot water booster coiled heaters require fuel or electricity , which increases the cost of operation.
