1. Freight Terms: No freight allowed.
2. Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. Classification:
All AmAir filters are classified U.L. Class 2. Testing was performed according to U.L. Standard 900. Filters are not available in Class 1. (See AmAir 301).
3. Filter Dimensions:
Actual filter face dimensions of Standard Size filters are listed by size and have a ±1/8” tolerance. Special size face dimensions are made to order ±1/8”. Actual filter depths are as follows:

4. Product Description: AmAir filters consist of a gold or white pleated media pack enclosed in a heavy duty frame.

¹ AmAir media is made of a blend of cotton and polyester fibers
a) Filter Assembly: The pleated media pack is bonded to the inside of the frame, forming a totally unitized construction.
b) Product Graphics: The filter frame is preprinted with the AAF logo, nominal size, actual size, U.L. Classification and air flow direction.
All Other Standard Sizes and Special Sizes: Strip Construction.
a) Media: Same as for Standard Sizes.
b) Media Support: A metal grid bonded to the media on the air leaving side.
c) Frame: Four pieces of heavy duty chipboard strips are stapled in each corner.

5. Packaging: AmAir filters are packed in a heavy duty corrugated fiberboard box.
6. Application Guide:
AmAir filters are designed for industrial and commercial applications having light to medium dust loading conditions. They are used for general air filtration in all types of cooling, heating and ventilating systems.AmAir filters provide significantly higher efficiency than disposable panel filters, permanent filters or media pads in metal frames. They are highly recommended for applications where these types of filters are presently being used and a higher level of air cleaning is desired.
